 T
o what LRH provides as a broad but incisive word on cultural destruction from foreign intelligence, let us add a few specifics. As regards the employment of mass media for the disruption of enemy populations, Operation Mind Control author Walter Bowart informs us: “...electronic propaganda became the staple weapon for waging the Cold War,” and the weapon was by no means one-sided. In opposition to the Central Intelligence Agency’s Voice of America radio network, beaming Western propaganda across the Iron Curtain, much evidence suggests a continuous Soviet effort to covertly foster American racial and labor strife through militant black and leftist organizations. As regards the LRH reference to new and seemingly unbelievable technologies within the intelligence arsenal, one might mention the Soviet bombardment of a United States embassy in Moscow with microwave beams allegedly to disrupt human thinking patterns.
