 I
t remains historical fact that one can always tell a totalitarian regime from the fearful voice with which it responds to Scientology’s popular dream of freedom. Case in point, the terrified J. Edgar Hoover and Richard Nixon responses to LRH and Scientology. But the greater point, as LRH explains in his definitive statement on Scientology objectives is simply this: any government, agency or official opposing Scientology is finally opposed to both what Scientologists represent as honest and responsible citizens and what their religion embodies in the way of still greater freedom.
